4. Laser Resurfacing – it shortens the collagen fibers that are contained in the skin layers which helps renew the elasticity of the skin and reduce or even eliminate the visible signs of scarring. This treatment should be performed by a qualified cosmetic surgeon. The laser is concentrated on the affected area one the energy penetrates the skin, it vaporizes the water and the surface layer of skin, leaving the deeper layers untouched.
5. Chemical Peels – it is similar with microdermabrasion which replaces and removed the damaged skin and reduces or even eliminates the sign of acne scar. A chemical peel uses a chemical solution of Phenol, Trichloroacetic Acid, and Alphahydroxy acids to remove the outer layers of damaged skin.
6. Autologous Fat Transfer – fat, from another part of the body, is injected beneath the surface of the skin that will make the depressed scar elevated. This is method is use to correct deep contour defects caused by acne. Because fats are reabsorb by the skin for a period of 6-18 months.
7. Collagen Injection –collagen is a normal substance coming from the body that is injected to the surface of the skin to fill out and stretched the deep soft scar cause by acne. When collagen is injected to the scar underneath, the skin around it raises up to the level of the skin around it.
