Orange and Lemon Cure for Acne

Citrus fruits like orange and lemons are rich in vitamins C that helps treat acne fast. Citrus fruits also soothes the skin and keep it hydrated.

Orange Peel Remedy- Peel two oranges. Pund the orange peel with a little water. Gently apply it on your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse.

Lemon Juice Remedy- Squeeze two lemons. Mix the lemon juice with small amount of water. Using a cotton ball, apply the lemon juice on your face. leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse.

How to Keep Skin Beautiful and Acne-Free During Menopausal Years

 

Skin care is important for women of all ages. However the need to keep it as smooth and clear as possible becomes even harder as one grows old. This need may even become more intense during the menopausal period, another one of those not so easy stages that a woman goes through.
 
Along with the hormonal changes that may cause various discomforts, it is also a time when some women experience not so pleasant changes in their skin which includes dryness, appearance of fine lines, uneven pigmentation and -acne breakouts.
 
What Causes Acne Breakouts
 
Most would probably be so annoyed at the thought that they still have to deal with acne problems outside the teenage years. It is caused by the weakening of a certain hormone during the menopause years. This is the ovarian hormone that is used by the body as a protection from acne. The good news is that one can still take measures to control and prevent it. Here are suggested ways to deal with it:
 
One can resort to safe and simple skin treatments such as microdermabrasion and herbal peeling. Aside from curing acne, the procedures also address other skin problems such as wrinkles and pigmentation.
 
Another way to keep skin radiant and blemish free is regular exfoliation. This removes dead skin cells and improves skin circulation revealing clear and younger looking skin.

You can consume it as is or as an addition to a meal or salads. Eat foods that are rich in fibre because it will improve digestion, prevent constipation and detoxify the body.
